About

Hi! I'm Leo Le Blanc, a junior at Crossroads School in Los Angeles. I started this online journal to share my passion for reading and writing. Over the past year, I struggled to find my voice as a writer. I was frustrated with writing contests that only took place twice a year and took months to announce winners. I also found it difficult to get my work out there. So, I decided to do something about it.

At Blank Pages, our goal is to help you find your voice as a writer by giving you a platform to publish your work, improve your writing skills, and read amazing pieces from your peers. I wanted to create a space where everyone has the chance to succeed, without the exclusivity of traditional contests. If, like me, you’ve struggled to get recognition in big school competitions, here’s your chance to win awards, and prizes, and get the acknowledgment you deserve for your writing.

I want to hear from you, so email me with all of your questions comments and concerns. Happy Writing!

All of the incredible images you see across the site were taken by my good freind Oliver Francis.

As a current student at New Roads High School, Oliver Francis began his photography career in 7th grade. When he isn't surfing the waves of Los Angeles, he usually spends the majority of his time working on short films or photography. Oliver shoots with an approach of capturing a moment and locking it in as a photographic memory. His art style varies from experimental street photography to a more modern, contemporary approach.
